Steve Jobs gives a perfect example here of how to deal with difficult questions in your leadership. He acknowledges the validity of (some of) the question, but then tries to share the bigger picture. He shows that he’s already thought through this, and that going down the route suggested by the questioner will ultimately lead to failure, whereas pursuing the current will lead to success, if people have a little more patience.
And there’s also a good reminder to design all of your products with the user in mind, not the features.
